Voice Overs

Born in East London Jo is a natural Cockney, however her voice is versatile in style, tone and accent. Her voice over experience lies in dubbing cartoons, lip synching, documentary narrations, IVR voice prompts and E-learning scripts. Her voice has been described as upbeat, enthusiastic, playful and characterful with a naturally husky and rich edge.  

Being a vocal coach, she has a good ear and talent for mimicking and has experience in both old and young voices ranging from 4 to 80 years. As a highly accomplished singer experienced in both live and recorded performances, lead and backing vocals, Jo sang the theme song to THE UNTOUCHABLES OF ELLIOT MOUSE in which she played the leading role of Deborah Rat  and featured in a few episodes of the all-sung children's series The Wonder Pets for Nick Jr. 



Jo was a regular actress at Village Recorders for 20 years where she could be heard on CN TOO as the title role of Blanche the sheep in the series BLANCHE. She played other leading roles in  PARSLEY PLAYGROUND, ELLIOT MOUSE, RATMAN, THE BEE BEES, BALI, MILLENIUM ACTRESS, (Anime feature) MONACO BLUE, SANTAS APPRENTICE, SHADOW FIGHTER, BUTTERCUP WOOD, FRIENDS OF THE FOREST, RIPPLES, ROCKET BOY, SANTA’S APPRENTICE, ZAP JUNIOR HIGH, YOUNG PICASSO and THE HAIRY SCARIES. The Clients for these productions include BBC/COSGROVE HALL, ALPHANIM, CARTOON NETWORK and ITV.
