ABOUT JOANNA LEE
Joanna has played leading roles in many West End shows including Pepper in ANNIE at the Victoria Palace, Ensemble and 1st Cover Eponine in LES MISERABLES at the Palace, Sue in A SLICE OF SATURDAY NIGHT at the Arts, Sarah in VIVA ESPANA at the Arts, THE ROYAL VARIETY SHOW at the Coliseum and the LES MISERABLES Anniversary concerts at the Albert Hall and the O2.
On National Tour Joanna has played Mavis and Miss Hot Stuff in HOT STUFF, Columbia in ROCKY HORROR SHOW, Miss Glow-Worm in JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH, Ruby in ROCK HARD and Jeanie in HAIR. Other major productions include OLIVER, DIVA FEVER, ABIGAIL’S PARTY, GREASE, THE BEGGARS OPERA, THE ADVENTURES OF MR. TOAD, LUST, LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD, THE PROVOK’D WIFE, WHAT THE BUTLER SAW, 84 CHARING CROSS ROAD, JEWISH LEGENDS, BETTE MIDLER AND ME and THAT'S JEWISH ENTERTAINMENT at the Radlett Centre and Gatehouse Theatre.

A BIT OF VARIETY
Moving into the CONCERT and CABARET world, Jo has been a backing vocalist on the MICHAEL BALL SHOW, sung for private gigs with Stephanie Lawrence and featured on 3 tours with Alvin Stardust. She was a founder member of the jazz duo GIRLS WHO WEAR GLASSES, the Motown act THE CORSETTES and the high end Musical Theatre duo, DROP DEAD DIVAS.
She has headlined many musical theatre concerts at the Theatre Royal, Lincoln and has toured with SHOWSTOPPERS, SPIRIT OF THE MUSICALS, PUTTING ON THE RITZ and WEST END TO BROADWAY. Having performed her one woman show at Pizza on the Park, the Millfield Theatre and the Greenwich Theatre, she now regularly gigs at functions, parties and events all over the country, recently singing alongside many prolific West End performers in A NIGHT AT THE MUSICALS at The Hippodrome, Leicester Square and opening the show, SUNDAY NIGHT AT THE MUSICALS at the Leicester Haymarket. She is the lead vocalist of 60s band READY STEADY GO and regularly performs a duo with Tony Award winner Sarah Travis on keyboard.
IN THE STUDIO
Recording work includes the role of Sue on the original cast recording of A SLICE OF SATURDAY NIGHT, 15 years working for Village Recording Studios – dubbing many different cartoon characters and providing all the singing and theme songs for their productions.
Her singing featured on several episodes of THE WONDER PETS and she has been a regular lead and ensemble vocalist on demos of new musicals written by Monty Nesbitt and the prolific lyricist and ANMT winner, Chris Burgess.
On TV and film, she can be seen in STRANGE BUT TRUE, THE BILL, KEEPING MUM, GOLDENEYE (supporting Minnie Driver), JOINT ACCOUNT and REVOLUTION playing alongside Nastassja Kinski, Joan Plowright and Richard O’Brien
